The problem with elephants is that if you leave them unattended in the kitchen, they will eat whatever they can find and soon grow to be unmanageably large. Not only will this wreak havoc on your grocery bills, but soon enough, they will crush your furniture, tusk-puncture your walls, and leave you very large piles of... that. As embarrassing as it is to admit that you have elephants, it really is best to acknowledge their presence and walk them out while they can still fit. If you have an elephant infestation, it is time to call a professional.
